Sir Neil Waters

Auckland

Sir Neil Waters (SNW) is the newest teaching building on the Auckland campus. It holds three classic-style tiered lecture theatres seating 100-300 people with in-built live streaming technology. 

With an additional six seminar rooms ranging from 40-100 in capacity and eight intimate breakout rooms for smaller 6-10 person groups, SNW is ideal for conferences and workshops. 

The building also boasts a large central foyer which doubles as a function space for awards evenings and expos with up to 300 guests.

The Atrium Building

The Atrium building provides some of our most flexible spaces. 

Adjacent to the main entrance is the Atrium Round Room which can host groups up to 150. The Atrium Round Room is extremely versatile with its size and professional yet stylish aesthetics. It can host various events from team-building activities and seminars to awards and catered functions. 

On the first lower-level sits our Underground Theatre. The Underground Theatre, AT2, doubles as a spacious 256-person tiered lecture theatre and converts to a performance-style theatre. Complete with a hydraulic stage, curtains, sound, and lighting rigs, the Underground Theatre is perfect for jazz evenings or as a space for performance groups. 

In addition, the Atrium holds six seminar rooms for groups sized 40-80 people.

Massey Business School

Auckland

The Massey Business School(MBS) houses our largest tiered lecture theatre, which seats 310 people. Also on this floor is an adaptable function space, MBS 2.15, which contains flexible furniture and presentation technology allowing for a wide variety of setups for up to 75 people. 

MBS 2.15 also has an adjoining kitchen with a built-in serving bar and access to two exterior decks overlooking the rolling hills at the bottom of the Auckland campus. 

Along with five additional seminar rooms seating 30-85 people, Massey Business school is suitable for large groups looking for social and breakout opportunities.

The Quadrangle

The Quadrangle contains two 140-seat tiered lecture theatres and a large boardroom. Additionally, there are six seminar rooms available ranging from 28 to 63 incapacity including one located on the third floor looking out over the adjoining hills and farmland
