With over 30 years of experience, weddings are our specialty. We focus on celebrating you as a couple and are here to help make your day as stress-free as possible, with all costs upfront, ensuring no hidden extras for you.

We are a walk-in and walk-out venue, leaving you to supply us your decorations, and we’ll do the entire setup and following clean-up at the end.

Our venue provides the ease of having everything in one location – from hosting your ceremony, photography locations, reception dinner, and dancing the night away.

To help make your wedding planning even easier, we have carefully put together some all-inclusive wedding packages which will suit all budgets and requirements.

Designed, so you know exactly what the cost will be, with no surprises at the end. All you need to allow for is your beverage costs, or you can add one of the beverage packages we have available to you. 

All our wedding packages include the exclusive venue hire of Wharerata house and gardens on the day, a beautiful reception in our Russell Room, and the set up costs for the day.

“In February, we hosted a weeklong workshop at the Massey Albany campus. Our workshop had both online and in-person presentations, as well as breakout workgroups. The room facilities were well-equipped with the technology needed for the presentations; and the space was more than sufficient for the participants to comfortably work in their breakout rooms. The on-site staff were extremely responsive to needs and were a joy to work with during the workshop. In leading up to the course, they were reliable communicators in helping us plan out the week.
